I can't believe it has finally come. I am officially 30 years old.

That sounds like it's as old as mold! I've been deep in thought all day at the realization of how blessed I have been. I have had wonderful parents and siblings, an incredible husband and four great boys. I have been given the gospel in my life, my health is great and I can honestly say I am so happy to be where I am. What more could I ask for besides bigger b- - bs and a job for my husband?! I wouldn't go back even one single year. Each one just gets bigger and better. I truly have never been more surprised than I was tonight. I thought we were dropping the kids off at Mark and Jacki's house so we could go to dinner and when we got there Dave had planned a whole surprise party for me. I about died of surprise! It was so much fun. Pat and Dan even drove an hour and a half to be there. Dan had just arrived from Belgium the night before. What a trooper! We have such great friends here in Pennsylvania. Hopefully Dave finds a job here so we can stay!
This is Jacki. She and Mark basically put the whole party together. Jacki made my favorite strawberry shortcake and Mark was outside in like 25 degree weather grilling burgers and hot dogs for everyone. They always play with our boys and offer to help us out. They are awesome people and we will miss them so much when they move to Arizona.
So my little sister Lisa hand made this awesome purse for me. She even mailed it to my friends house where the surprise party was going to be. She totally rocks! I love the fabric and the pattern. She's always been the most creative person I know-Everyone needs to check out www.babytidbitz.blogspot.com. Love ya Lis!

Happy Birthday! I am glad to see someone is rather enjoying 30. Several of our friends turned 30 last year and well the one friend had a comment that summed up almost everyones attitude about being30. He said "i might as well grab a back hoe and dig 6' hole in the back yard and put one leg in it." I don't think 30 is all that bad... think of it this way, if 40 is the new 20, well that must make 30 the new 10 haha! :) Hope it was wonderful. Love ya!

Bonnie,
Wow! I love your blog. You are a very blessed person. You work hard for everything you have, but you are loved by so many. Especially me. I am so thankful I got to be your mother. I am also so thankful you have Pat and Dan there. They are such good friends and grand parents. I know we will be leaving soon and it gives me great comfort to know they are close to you. However I pray you get a job in New Mexico. Having said that I don't think is is possible and who knows where you will end up when Dave gets his job. (I know it will be a good one.) Keep up the blogging it is fun to be a part of your world. love always mom.
