Well, this weekend my parents officially moved away. They are off to retire in New Mexico...the land of much dirt. We will miss them so much! I will miss the New York shopping trips, free vacations, live in nanny service, and of course the patented "Carla Hug". There's nothing like it in the world. Dave will miss the John Deer tractor and the yellow "Z" sportscar which dad let him drive. At least they sold them before they moved so no one else can enjoy them the way we did! They stopped by on their way through town to say goodbye to the the boys. It was tough to say the least. Nik woke up and ran upstairs to see where grandma was because she wasn't in her bed. (we have a guest room downstairs they always sleep in). Anyways, I suppose we've monopolized them long enough. It's only fair that Steve and Brian get some time too! your post makes me wantto cry! i totally know what you mean.. it's sad for you guys... but then i remembered that they are moving closer to me! HAH! woo hooo.. its definately my turn.. a 7 hour drive is still easier and cheaper than flying for the holidays . ps. you look great!
I bet your parents are going to miss your boys so much!!! (Not to mention you missing them) Now there is an excuse for a road trip every now and then!
Glad they came to see you before they headed out. They have already "been gone" for the last few months with getting things ready and your mom being out there. you dad comes back in tonight. Hope he fairs at his empty house. We told him to come to our place, but we shall see!!!
I don't think it has hit us just yet. We keep saying, we should go to grandma's house, then remember no one and nothing is there!
