What can I say...I had a fabulous Mother's Day. I have these four beautiful boys that make it so much fun to be a mom. I really could never have guessed how blessed I would be. I got a necklace and some Salt City candles. The candles were a massive effort though because the had to be picked up by Lisa who lives in SLC and driven to a mutual friend who packed them in his suit case and brought them home in his luggage. All that work for a woodberry candle. Sweet. Dave also sang a song in church today about mother's which of course made everyone, including me and the fellow bishopric members cry. It was about how God sent an angel to watch over him. He even prefaced the song with how much he loved and appreciated me. I'm sure I was blushing to high heaven, but it was awesome. He has so much class. It was nice that at the end of the song his youngest son Sam decided to throw his head back and let out this enormous scream. Dave held it together without laughing though. He and the kids drew me pictures as well. Eric's picture said he was grateful when I make chicken and it had a picture of me cooking on the stove with this HUGE open flame! I don't know what he was trying to say but...oh well. He also said he was glad I was so flexible! Pretty funny. Today I especially loved thinking about my mom. What a woman. I couldn't really begin to express my gratitude for such a one of a kind person. Carla Bayley is truly the one person that has impacted my life the most and whom I strive to be like every day of my life. I'll never really succeed, but I'll never stop trying either! I love her with all of my heart and I am so grateful for all she has done to give me the tools and confidence and love and support that a daughter needs. I LOVE YOU MOM!!!

Good-bye to Mark and Jacki, our law student friends who have decided to graduate and move on with their life. Totally selfish if you ask me! We will miss you greatly. Also, happy first mother's day to you Jacki!
Here is the necklace I got from Dave. Look at the four "angels". They are my boys birthstones. So cute!
