Well, today was Eric's 8th birthday and he's getting baptized this Saturday. It also happens to be our 9th anniversary on the 31st so we decided it would be fitting to take a trip back to where it all began for us...the Washington D.C. temple. It was actually really neat because the temple was closed and there was no one around. It was so peaceful and quiet. Funny, it reminded us of our hot, muggy, 102 degree wedding day! We had lunch at my favorite restaurant, Baja Fresh, and did the visitor center. Luckily I remembered my tripod and I set my camera on timer mode for some family pics. It's been a long time since I've attempted this but I was pleasantly surprised at the kid's level of cooperation. It is really surreal to see these four beautiful boys following behind me like ducks in a row. Where did they come from and where has the time gone?! I'm stunned at how blessed I've been in my life and I thank the Lord every day for such an amazing husband. He is my soul mate in the truest sense. I love you Dave! I'm also so proud to be the mother of these most fabulous boys!

Great pictures! I wish my family (husband included) were so cooperative!
I love the D.C. Temple and I even remember when you got married.
Remember the purple dresses??
Congrats!
look at Nik go!
I love the pics. What an adorable family, and I love that all of your boys heads were turned and smiling for the family pics. The other day I cought my boys smiling at an imaginary camera. They were all hugging and posing very still and perfect, but for me that would never happen. They are so funny.
I love seeing Sam walk. He is sooooooooo cute.
