Today we celebrated Nik's 4th birthday. I can't believe it's been that long since he came into our lives. He was quite the whirlwind of "adventure" and continues to be so. You'd really never guess this robust, strong, energetic boy was once so weak. Seriously he went from not breathing at night, to projectile vomiting everything in site, to allergies, to heart rate monitors and caffeine every day. Now we affectionately call him......."Nik-a-Brick". This is the very same little man that decided to come during Dave's biggest final in his second year of law school. Lovely. I labored the whole time at the hospital by myself and Dave showed up just in time to "catch" him basically! At least he made it. Anyways the party was so cute and the kids did awesome on their crafts. Grandma and Grandpa drove up as well. All in all it was an awesome day.
